This acoustic guitar is built from all-solid FSC-certified tonewoods: a Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides, a 1-piece mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. Just one strum is enough to understand the capabilities of the OM-40R. The tone is warm, inviting, and utterly devoid of the low-midrange mud that can plague rosewood-backed acoustics. Larrivee’s goal is to provide “affordable luxury,” and the OM-40R more than lives up to that expectation.
