The Lanikai LU series of ukuleles offers professional craftsmanship and features at a price point that is tailor-made for those new to the instrument, not to mention perfect for students in a classroom setting. When you think of a ukulele, the soprano is probably what comes to mind — its shorter scale and smaller overall body produces bright yet soft tones, resulting in a tight, crisp sound. Known for its bright, maple-like tones, okoume wood is used for the top, back, and sides, projecting crisp sound while remaining lightweight. A wide neck profile accommodates easy, comfortable play, and is great for beginners who want that classic uke sound. Open-back tuners and an 8-hole quick-tie bridge make stringing and tuning your uke a breeze, ensuring it reliably stays in tune.

Why do some of the used instruments have a “used” stamp on the back of the headstock?

This step is a long-standing agreement we have had with some of our manufacturing partners taken to protect their interests and to prevent the filing of improper warranty claims.  For many consumers, the “used” stamp is recognized as a sign of quality, giving confidence that an instrument originating from MIRC has been properly set-up and refurbished by a professional tech.
